What position are you running for?

  • City Council

Why did you want to run for office?

  • I was born and raised in Camrose, I love this city and have always wanted to give back to the city that has given me so much.

Tell us your favorite library story:

  • My first experience with Art was at the Camrose Library and the vast amount of drawing and art books were far beyond what I expected. Being able to take these drawing books home with me was a great joy, and would inspire my creative side for the rest of my life.

What are you reading or watching right now?

  • Right now I am reading “Unbroken" a WW2 story of survival and I am watching a Netflix series called Love on the Spectrum.

What do you think the Camrose public library brings to the community and how can you support us better?

  • I feel the library is as vital as any sporting or entertainment venue is to our community. Having a free and accessible location for people of all ages to seek knowledge or a good read is important to me. I would support the library by listening to and embracing the directives of the library staff and its members.

What is your vision for the City of Camrose?

  • My vision for the City of Camrose includes more public involvement in major City decisions, improving transportation within the City, a fiscally conservative council, and keeping our tax dollars in Camrose by offering all community projects to our local businesses first before we search else-where.
