Comic-Con (yearly multi-genre entertainment and comic book convention) won’t be happening at San Diego Convention Center this year, but it will be happening virtually. And the upcoming virtual events–including panels and high-profile exhibitors–have been announced. Check out the schedule, which is open and free to the public. Link

As part of a larger movement to rename streets and public areas after women, a renovated square in Koekelberg, Brussels, will soon be named after the Brontë sisters, Charlotte, Anne, and Emily. Charlotte and Emily Brontë arrived in Koekelberg in February 1842 to study French and it was their only trip abroad. Link

In an unusual turn of events, the estate of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is suing Netflix and author Nancy Springer over showing Sherlock Holmes having ... emotions. Ms. Springer is the author of The Enola Holmes Mysteries series which is being made into Netflix adaptation. Link
